In-home Respite Care
Helping Hands Gippsland provides in-home respite care to people with disabilities, which can include temporary relief to primary caregivers. This care is especially important when the primary caregiver needs to take a break from their caregiving role or deal with other responsibilities. In-home respite care can include assistance with meal preparation, housekeeping tasks, medication support, and other basic needs of daily living. We are trained to take special care of people with disabilities and to handle any emergency situations. We work with families and carers to create a customised plan that meets the individual's unique needs and preferences. Our aim is to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for our clients, while also giving their primary caregiver a respite to recharge their energy and reduce care-related stress.
