Funding Scheme

NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life. The NDIS also connects anyone with disability to services in their community. This includes connections to doctors, community groups, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools and much more. For more information regarding your Rights and Responsibilities, the NDIS Code of Conduct, the NDIS Price Guide, the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission (Feedback and Complaints), please visit ndis.gov.au.

COMMONWEALTH HOME SUPPORT PROGRAMME (CHSP)

The CHSP is an entry-level home support program that helps older people to live independently in their homes and communities. To support this, the government subsidises a range of in-home aged care services. These services help older Australians to stay independent and safe in their own homes, delay or avoid high-level care such as residential care in an aged care (nursing) home, stay socially active and stay connected with their community.
